The Artist
Larry A. Fishman began designing the JENNLAR Art and Unique Gifts Site in 2005. He also created personalized custom design photo Mouse Pads. More recently, he designed the Jennlar Jewelry Site where he served as photographer. As an educator for 37 years, he taught English as a Second Language and served as a guidance counselor in a Southern California high school. He plans on continuing to help young people learn English while living in Taiwan and maintaining and enhancing this website by assisting his wife, Jenny, to promote her incredible artistic creations.
Jenny C. Liang, a very talented artist from Taiwan, has been painting since 1986. She studied under Evelyn Drapkin, a professional
artist, who encouraged her to continue developing her special talents. She spent 10 years studying art and media at Cerritos College
in Southern California. From 2000 to 2002 she studied watercolor under the guidance of Angela Shin, a well-known artist from Hong
Kong, Taiwan and New York. Jenny's most recent art exhibition took place in February 2003 at the San Gabriel Fine Arts Gallery. Also,
Jenny creates "life-like" handmade orchid plants using natural colors and a "special" polymer clay resulting in realistic models of
natural plants. Each painting and plant is a one-of-a-kind original by the artist.
